Hi everybody! This is my very first blog- and I'm excited! I don't know how many of you take read my serial, but I'1000 working on it. Information technology's going to take a while for me to get Function 4 out- It's over 70 pages! I know my stories are style to long. I'g sorry. It'southward just, I like getting information technology all out, and over with. I haven't had that much patience recently, so I won't exist hunkering down and writing information technology all out someday soon. I've been going well-nigh ii to v slides a 24-hour interval, then It's going to take soemtimes. And, I won't exist playing TS2 for a little while (or, at least till the stop of lent) and then after this role's out, don't expect some other till easter.
Oh, and before I go, even though I do this constantly, I'd like to thank all of the people who read my stories, all the people who look at my screenshots, and at present (yay!) all the people who read my weblog!

Bad news everyone,
My re-create of Sims 2 decided to randomly get nuts on me..

Firstly, it failed to recognise I had the University installed..

"I'll merely reinstall it.."
So realising all my CDs copies of the Sims were a few hundred miles away at home, not on campus.
Which would otherise have been fine..
..if the game hadn't started experiencing graphic tears..

Information technology's not, 'cos I can still play Empire: Total War.
So, I'm a loss to what is the trouble.
Yet, could be worse.
In the mean time, it ways no more than uploads (except for "Ashbeck Bungalow", a two sleeping room bungalow) until I scramble dorsum habitation to go the discs, which volition be about in iii weeks time.

...making Sims for Sims three very shortly. Simply had so much to exercise recently. Started an A Level English language Language course, then been training myself to do at least 45 minutes a day of that earlier I do anything else. It'due south a difficult thing to do, believe me! lol!
Already got a Sim in my game at the infinitesimal that I created yesterday with the premise of being in-game, and so I can take screenshots of her for her preview paradigm for on hither. She's a stunner! ^_^

It's a mesh - my commencement attemp at meshing

Information technology'south been awhile since I posted anything in my blog. I am finally taking the plung and trying to acquire to mesh. I tried using Liana'due south mesh which she offer to creators similar me, but I had to apply an older version of TSR'south workshop. My pinnacle using Liana's mesh installed in the game just fine, but when I tried to upload it to TSR I just got a message saying something similar "don't know what to do with it." I tried to upload it iv times. I thought it was the server, so I uploaded some other sim pack I fabricated from the current version of TSR Workshop and information technology uploaded just fine. That is when I decided I needed to brand my own mesh.
I hope Liana doesn't mind just I used her idea to tweak the same mesh she did which is the overhang tiptop. I liked the way my top fit on her mesh, but since I'one thousand having issues uploading my top with her mesh to TSR I decided to make mine similar to Liana'southward. Imitation is the all-time course of flattery.
Information technology'due south a little mind boggling, but I remember I can do information technology. I'm going to start pocket-size. I tried making a few adjustments to this top. I constitute a great video tutorial on youtube on quick meshing in milkshap and information technology really helped. They used a different CAS Workshop similar to TSR's workshop, so I was able to figure out how to export and import to and from TSR.
The fun role was tweaking the mesh in milkshape. Yep, I bankrupt down and purchased Milkshape. The difference between the youtube tutorial and what I was really working on, is when I import the mesh into milkshape it had the Fat morph on the top. I hide the fat morph and tweaked the base mesh. Then brought back the fat morph and tweaked it so it was similar to the base mesh.
Here's a screen shots of my first attempt at meshing. I hope to i day make my own meshes. I still need to figure out the whole UV Maps, Vertex and ploygon stuff. Look for my meridian coming soon. I really want to brand a short skirt for girls. I detest the long skirt in the game. Wish me luck.

...finally..later on a few hours of frustration wondering why it was telling me I had no clarification, championship or thumbnail :-D ...I uploaded it to my game, added my sim..and spent the next 60 minutes laughing my socks off...I oasis't bothered painting in non routable areas, I thought I would get with the menstruum..they can't get in the sea or h2o, just it seems they can go upwardly some amazingly steep hills! :-D
I tried all the hills out..and information technology was so funny watching her running up those stupidly steep hills...but I don't think I will change it considering it's just too funny!! (doesn't take much to make me express mirth! :-D )
and the views are just spectacular from upward in that location :-D ....I still haven't got any spawners down, just she had a fish in the body of water, and fifty-fifty though in that location wasn't a single residential lot, or community/rabbit hole, for some reason the game spawned some townies almost straight abroad..
this is, apprently Betty(or something) Butcher!! I take no idea where she thought she was going!! Mayhap to see those views! :-D I checked out where the sunrise and sunset was, because when you create the world yous can't move the sun but you conform your world to fit where it rises etc and I must have fabricated a boo boo somewhere considering information technology wasn't quite where I thought it was :-D , only it'll exercise..
This is the sunset (:-D )..and where one of the beach lots volition be..I started building it yesterday and this is what the dusk will look like from the living room window....
I'one thousand pretty happy at this, needs something though I think..definately needs some waves crashing :-D....

I demand patterns for my Sims3 and have been trying for some time now to make them, but without success. Then I found this bang-up tutorial by Sinastra, who tipped about a plug-in for Photoshop. That fabricated all the divergence in the earth! Afterwards some fumbling around I finally managed to get started with pattern making. I'm actually happy nigh this! At present I don't take to wait for somebody else to create something I can use, but can brand them myself.

I accept been searching out other Sims3 sites earlier and Evanell's site had a postal service about a free dress at the Sims3 shop that was posted on 02/17/2010 in Evenell's news department. Strange thing is that without clicking the link to the store I was unable to find information technology on my ain. It doesn't announced to be anywhere in the store when going though each and every category and age for females. Don't know how long this link will work but I wanted to share with everyone.

For 2.5 days, I've been honing my meshing skills...they're coming forth, slowly but surely. Information technology's 3am and finally, I've completed some other mesh prepare - Bathroom Clutter! The set includes six new meshes: toilet plunger, toilet paper stack, a toilet carpeting, nail polish and file, shampoos and soap, and toothbrush and toothpaste.
The items are decorative only, and serve no purpose other than clutter! Who doesn't dear clutter!?

...and Gosh! hasn't it been driving me nuts!! I'm on my second world, because the first one was driving me to distraction..some lots were not lining up no matter how much smoothing I was doing, roads had tears in...oh, and a million othere things that were making me tear my hair out!! I'm finally getting the hang of information technology though, I retrieve ;-) ...
the moving picture above is my first endeavor..maybe one day I will go back to it, but for now I'm consigning it to the 'I've had enough' bin..
this ane is my electric current try...equally yous can see the lots I've placed on the correct hand embankment side I placed first and the sand texture that I mistakenly plopped on after is underneath never to be seen...so later on deleting the whole lot and starting again :-o ;-) ...
...then now the lots are over the terrain..yous can't really run across where I've placed them because for some reason you can't take a screenshot in edit mode..pah..anyway, there'due south lots of varying sizes all along the beachfront, I've tried to go on everything standard sort of sizes so that I can plop EA lots in if I can't exist bothered to make some of my own, or fab lots off here..I still can't figure out how to place a bridge and have the route useable...simply managed to get the trees on and objects..and this is where I'1000 at at present..
And so, I think I'chiliad nearly half style..I'chiliad itching to play it, just I've got spawners to put on...more copse and all those lots that I ought to be building... :-D
Only I'm taking a intermission, going to make dinner in a moment..I'1000 making plaice covered with cheesy breadcrumbs, and whatsoever else is in the fridge :-D ...and male child am I glad to be finishing this for now..it's well and truly worn me out!

Tutorial done and foisted upon hapless beginners to try it out and point out the error of my ways, so back to the Sims three cartoon board!
One prepare I am very peachy to complete at present is the bath set up (well, the give-and-take 'bathroom' might be playing a fine edge to the real set I am making). You've seen the toilets and the sinks at present, so how virtually some mirrors? The rust is in two recolourable shades. I was going to make that non-recolourable only the mirrors can be made to look very different depending on the colour of that rust. Four dissimilar designs (including a cracked, broken mirror) will ensure yous'll have no 'repeat' effect when using more than one...
If anyone asks me nicely, I might even make a 100% boringly make clean and rust-free mirror to complete the ready, just we'll all know who yous are! Anyway, I'm deplorable I was timed-out on creating. At present that tutorials and other nonsense is out of the way, I can throw myself dorsum into ruining your game - my favourite pastime!
Postscript: time for MY moment of shame. Everything is this set will (unfortunately) clean up into pristine items too. I've simply chosen the worst possible colour variations to prove you. Even the sinks will smoothen like mother came along and cleaned them in disgust!

I really just have to share this story with you all.
Concluding night, my fiancee and I went to the cinemas to run across the new picture show, Shutter Island. While the trailers were playing, Chris went to get u.s.a. a couple of mint choc chip ice-creams. He came dorsum with a mint choc chip choc acme for him and a vanilla for me for some strange reason. Even he doesn't know why he got a vanilla for me simply I think it was considering we were talking well-nigh them earlier he went and therefore he had vanilla on his mind. Then anyhow, that was fine and I said I would but become get myself a mint choc chip i.
Past the time I came back in, the film was merely starting and a couple were at present sitting side by side to Chris, pushing united states downwardly one seat. Equally I sat down, he explained that while trying to movement for the couple who came in belatedly, he had dropped his ice-cream and information technology now lay splattered on the floor in front of us. So, I was willing to share mine only while he was showing me where his dropped water ice-cream was and so I wouldn't step in it, my ice-cream roughshod off my lap and splattered on the ground, too!!
We were just speechless. Iii water ice-creams afterwards and neither of us got to consume one! Obviously we weren't meant to have an water ice-cream last dark. After the initial annoyance disappeared, we couldn't stop laughing about it. Luckily the moving picture was great - it has a surprising twist! - and it was nevertheless a great night. Just, what are the odds?? :-D

I am distressing for any inconvenience that may be caused by my recoloring of items from closed sites. I cannot edit my files here at TSR and I am sure they do not want to edit ALL the files necessary. And so, PLEASE, if it is a recolor of an item from an outside Sims2 site, recolored past myself or ANYONE, make certain information technology is bachelor before you download to alleviate any frustrations yous may incur.
